    So I dropped my storm on the floor, it even cracked my Incipio case. When I try to turn on my storm it is just black, nothing shows up, and the red light doesn't even come on. However, the Storm does get pretty hot, but does not turn on. It also doesn't get recognized when I plug it in to my computer. Is there any way to fix this or should I just go back to Verizon? Also, is there any way to get all my information off of my storm even though it won't recognize it? If I do just send it back to verizon, is there any danger of them checking my personal information, photos, texts, etc?

    If i were you i would leave my batt out for a little while and then attempt to put it back and plug it into the charger and see if the screen comes on. If not i would take it into the store but if i were you i would leave out the part where it dropped and just say it turned off and wouldnt turn back on. and if they get it on i doubt they would look at the stuff..but if you never see them you will never know :/

    Call VZW tech@ 1 800 922 0204. They'll tell u how 2 handle both damage & personal info. Likely u'll need 2 replace ($50 w/insurance).

    Tough break buddy, no warranty covers physical damage except some like mine i pay 7$ a month for full protection, even that they will replace my storm for 150$ which is better than 699.99 lol

    I had a problem like that it fell out of my holster and when I picked it up screen was BLACK. I could get calls and messages but couldn't see anything, so I just took it in to a zvw store. The guy said **** I can't see anything to figure it out so I will just give you a new one they transferred my contacts and that was that

    You got ripped off if you paid $150 and had insurance. The deductable is $89.

    sounds like you need to talk to good ol asurion. i wouldnt even waste my time at the store. if its physically damaged, they'll just tell you to call the insurance. make the claim 2 ways. Welcome To Asurion's Online Resource Center or call 888-881-2622.
