most the iPhone users got mobile me to have semi push email..

so if its push email your looking for you don't need mobile me.

However mobile me does do some things for your mac that are kind of nice =)

i was more attracted to the sync of contact/calender/emails in the cloud, so my pc's and phones can be in synch with little trouble

you can go bis (free) or bes (not free.) if you want bes and don't have access via work you can get a hosted exchange account with bes and you'll be rockin!

MobileMe is not just for iPhones, it can be used to sync multiple PCs or Macs. The killer for me that stops me from using it is it doesn't support Microsoft Exchange Server (despite being advertised as Exchange for the rest of us). Now that Google added contact syncing to their calendar synching and it does work on my Storm, it's perfect.

The google sync thing is a piece of junk. All your series calendar events are only synced as single events. It doesn't allow you to sync far enough out into the future and it doesn't sync contact photos. There are a few other problems with it too but these are at least scratching the surface. Its a very nice try but they need to do some more work on it.

There are some options to sync your calender and such other than manual syncing.

    1) The new google sync that was updated for BB
    2) Microsoft Exchange from work
    3) BIS (at least so I hear) and BES (not free)

Thats all i know for now but there are more out there i am sure.

    EDIT

I dont know if the google app and the google sync that was recently updated for BB are the same thing but I have heard mixed reviews with it.

does it make sense to have mobileme to synch my iphone and outlook, and then synch my outlook with my BB? would that work okay?

I wouldn't call receiving email instantly semi push email.

I too have mobile me and wish there was an App that would allow the Storm to sync the contacts and calendar by push. Also BIS from verizon will not let me log in online. what the f?
