please if you know the answer tell me. my storm will no longer connect to DM and im wanting to change my OS. is it my USB, phone, or what? it just suddenly started doing it. it had worked fine for 4 months

Have you tried the Loader.exe? You can find it in Program Files>Common Files>Research In Motion>AppLoader

Otherwise try restarting your computer and opening up DM again and trying. If that still doesnt work, uninstall DM and reinstall.

thanks, i thought about doing that last line but i was wandering if anyone had an easy fix. but thanks man

well, as strange as this might sound, try taking out your battery and plugging it in and see if the DM recognizes it then.

thanks for the help. im reinstalling desktop manager. it kept giving me the "(Desktop Manager is not responding)" bulljive anyways
