I got my storm yesterday and have been playing with it today and have noticed that sometimes when it is just sitting, the display will randomly turn on. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, but I am thinking that it is possibly contributing to less than stellar battery life. I unplugged it this morning about 11 AM, and by 8PM it was almost dead. I also have bluetooth turned on. Can bluetooth being on cause the battery to drain that much? On my old phone I never turned the bluetooth off and the phone lasted for days.
Anyways, does anyone else have this display randomly turning on thing? I am running 75 btw.
I've had mine for a few weeks now and today I've just started having the same problem. The display randomly turns on every minute or two for no apparent reason. I've had to set the backlight timeout to 10 seconds to try and conserve the battery.
