I use the advanced option in desktop manager (DM) version 4.7 to do backups. I have to use the advanced option because my backup will error out on the "location based services" so I need to skip trying to backup that particular thing.

Anyway, I've read threads that say people backup their blackberry and then the backup their applications. Is there a separate way to backup the blackberry applications that I am missing?
