Hey guys, my parents bought a Storm from the store, they did not order it, and it says on the side that it came with a Micro SD Card, but it did not. I'm getting one in about a week, and I want to watch YouTube, so any help? Is there a problem, or do you have to order it from the online store? Thanks.

Did they actually take the back off and check to see if it's there? The micro SD card (8 Gig) is supposed to be pre-installed, not just included in the box.

I know it's supposed to be in there, but its not in either one, so I'm hoping it comes with mine.

You can stream youtube videos with or without an sd installed. But like the above post said, it comes pre-installed.

LOL they are going to think that you took it out on purpose just to get a free 8gig micro SD card. I mean, that's what I would think if I was a VZW rep at a store and you came in and told me that.

They certainly did not come with one in the UK, VF must have taken them out!!!!!!

They don't in Australia unless you order online from the Vodafone website. However my Vodafone dealer gave me a $100 gift certificate to offset that.

I want a 16GB card anyway.

Yeah If you got your storm from Verizon an 8gig card should have came with it.

like others said, go to verizon and tell them this. i'd probably send your parents, just because i'd believe them before a kid (only assuming you are young because your parents bought it...nothing personal). but in my line of work i have had "kids" try to get things for free.

with Verizon it doesn't matter if it was ordered online or picked up in a store, you should have the 8gb installed in the device already. If you do not, go to the store and talk with the manager. With Verizon they will tell you if it is "online only" as you will see some of their other phones say free bluetooth headset (not available in store) like this screenshot. They do not say such for the Storm and the 8gb though (as seen in the second screenshot). It is printed on the box as contents it should have.

Not only did mine come with the 8 gig card installed, but I got a free 2 gig card as well (was the 9th person in line on launch day, don't know if it was a limited number thing).

Thanks, I wonder if its just for my city. I'll find out sooner or later...
