Ok i have a Mac , Im not sure what desktop manager is but im assuming its an EXE that you run on your PC to sync your BB to it. I obviously can not run that program so my question is Can you update to the New OS through the STORM or does it have to be through DM?

If indeed you can update by going through the sotrm or even going to a verizon store for the update will you lose all of your information and so forth?

Quick and Simply whats the best way to go about updating my storm?

Ive read through a few threads but most are a little confusing as I dont yet know all the appreviations

once the OTA updates are available, you will be able to do it that way.

Also, in January, a Mac version of DM is supposed to be available, so you should be able to do it that way as well

thanks alot thats a big help, but can or cant you update directly from the phone? and also does update delete all your pictures messages and information?... thanks again nguyen
