It seems that whenever i delete a file off of my memory card on the phone, it never frees up the space. For example, I just deleted about a gig of stuff and yet it still says that space is being taken up. I really feel like i'm being stupid right now but i don't get it

Are you looking at the media card memory or the application memory?

What did you delete? From where? Did you try pulling the battery to see what your memory said then?

I was looking at the media card, even says it when i plug in to the mac and see it as a mass storage device
