    how do i get the date to appear under the time on my home screen because it does not, and are there any other things i can add to the top like status information and such?

    When you are looking at your home screen are you sure that you aren't looking at it with the extended (4 rows) home screen. Because if you look at it that way you will only see the time but if you look at it with the minimized home screen (press the back button when looking at the extended home screen) it should show the date right under the time.

    If i can find some pictures to better explain this I will post them to make this clearer.

    yeah - change your home screen options to 4 or 8 rows and the date will appear. SCK - what do you mean by change the format? You can change the clock to 24 hr time if you want.

    For example it says for today Tuesday, December 30. I am used to a format of 30/12/08. Or 12/30/08. I hardly ever need to know the day but the date.

    No way to change to that format that I've seen. Maybe a third party app will do the trick.
