Colorware is certainly sweet -- except just using a vinyl skin is much more cost effective.

    So there for LAME.
I wouldn't want to spend 150$ to get my storm repainted. Just by a cover with the color you like.

Why? because you wont spend your money on it. thanks for adding you 2 cents to a conversation that people, here who are interested in the product, are trying to have.

Let's put it this way...if you have the coin to get this phone (or any of those toys), you have the coin to spring for sweet paint job...

I was excited for when colorware would be out for the storm, but seeing as I've had my phone replaced twice already. I would be really pissed if I paid all that money to get my phone painted, just to have my phone replaced the next wk.

Won't painting the phone void the warranty

I'm not sure here, but i think they send you the exterior casings that are painted, and then you swap them yourselves. Or you can have them do it too. Not sure though....

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get it from cnn.cn and then painting it yourself?

if you buy the phone directly from colorware I believe they provide their own warranty services. I know they do with the macbooks they sell.
