i've been doing a search on how to replace it with not much luck. mine needs replaced also. if you come across some instructions please post.

I have used cnn.cn when I had my pearl and that worked great.

I have had to replace it before and it is much easier than one would expect.



I used this video for a guide and didn't have any problems at all. Hope it helps.

the links (except for youtube) above both have the video tutorial (thanks to cnn.cn).. i've thought about buying a black bezel and replacing my chrome. it's become dull and squeaky. Doesn't look too hard, no different from taking apart an iBook.

^ i was thinking about doing the same. having an all black storm and a blank battery door (no verizon logo) would be pretty slick IMO.
