So my Storm will only charge when powered down. I've tried a few different chargers with the same result. Anyone else experience this issue and have any solutions? I'm afraid that if I take it in store they will blame it on drop damage as there are a few scuffs on the bezel. However this problem recently started happening and I haven't dropped the phone in quite some time.

There have been people with this issue, from what I remember its usually due to using a non-OEM charger or cable.

I am using the original cable that came with my Storm.

Have you just installed a new OS? What version you using? Sorry if its in your signature. I'm using the WAP version of the site.

Just go to the verizon store and be nice and dont come out stupid and tell them that its been acting up on you with charging. Most likely they will replace it.
