I have a usb car charger in the car which came with my tomtom gps. I got the mini usb to micro usb converter cable
At first the setup was working fine.
I'd connect thw converter cable to charger, connect storm to it, plug it in and I'm ready ro rock n roll
However a while later something changed. I can no longer charge my storm
Whenever I connect it, it shows that its charging for like ten seconds and then stops.
Any idea what's up with my setup ?

Yeah you're not using the correct charger to charge your storm. Not all usb chargers are created equal. Did you know that you can't charge a magellan or garmin gps with a tomtom charger? You'd think that. Mini usb is mini usb, but it isn't. Just spend the $15 and charge your storm the right way.
