so I've had my Storm for about 3 days, and for some reason, yesterday, it decided to not let me type text messages in portrait mode...it lets me use portrait mode for everything else including email and Blackberry Messenger...does anyone know how I can re-enable portrait mode in SMS??

There is no way to unenable it, so, I don't know what you can try, a battery pull maybe?

What do you mean you can't use it? Are you not getting the keyboard or something?

yes I couldn't use the portrait mode to send SMS...it wouldnt come up, but I pulled out the battery and turned it back on and now it works, but now its being all slow..

I had somewhat the same issue but mine was doing it during landscape mode, I simply pulled the battery and it has worked fine since then!

only thing you can do when this happens is a battery pull but don't worry a software is coming to fix it soon
