I bought a 9530 tonight and I can change passwords but I can't get it to disable password. The button to enable/disable isn't clickable and the menu button doesn't give me the option to disable. I rarely use passwords cause my phone is RARELY more than an arms reach away.
I've tried wiping, re-installing an OS, and restoring it to a previous back-ups (my 9700 and a previous 9530) and nothing is working.
What would cause it to have a permanent lock and how can I get rid of it? I bought it locally using Craigslist and unlocked it to T-Mobile. It is working but the lock is killing me.
