I've got three screens of blank contacts that I cant delete, move, trash, cut or otherwise remove. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks PS. Doesn't show in address book....

I meant they don't show up in the address book on my computer. Just in the contacts folder on my phone. OS...148?

A wild guess... Are you using the beta mac desktop manager?

Yes. I am using the beta desktop manager. There are 3 or 4 screen fulls of empty contacts on the screen. When you click on one the "Delete" option disappears. Cant get rid of them. Come to think of it they did appear after syncing using the beta DM.......

You need to take a visit to the Mac users forum. There is a thread there titled "Error: Contact Updated Externally"

This is a known problem with the Mac beta. Hopefully you will find your answer in the Mac forum somewhere. Good luck, and don't forget to use the search feature!
