    hey guys, i'm new to the world of blackberry and i just got a storm - go figure. anyways its a verizon wireless issued storm and i cant find my browser nor the blackberry maps app. whenever i check the application list it says it is installed, but i can find none of these apps anywhere on the phone to be used. please help

    try to go to options/advanced options/host routing table/blackberry button/register. That might help

    have you checked to see if they are hidden? Try holding down the bb button and see if the browser is running in the background..

    well i found a browser icon by holding down the blackberry button. but it's still not in my menu. the blackberry maps is not runnin at all in the background and its not in the menu either

    By menu you mean the home screen? Did you hit the BB button > show all?

    u knw when u hit the blackberry button from your home screen, and all the icons come up. the browser nor blackberry maps aint in it............. how do u do show all?

    click the bb button > select show all. make sure its not hidden.. if its not there check other folders such as applications etc. What OS you running? Are you using a diff theme other than the default?

    if u click the bb button you don't get a pop up menu that shows move, hide, show all, etc?

    If you installed a theme, some move a lot of stuff back to the Downloads folder. Check there possibly.

    I don't know what Digicel is but maybe this thread will explain why you can't find it (though the thread concerns Curve Blackberry it may pertain to your Storm also)

    Click on Applications
    Then Click BB
    You will then see Show All in the Menu for the Applications Folder
    Click on Show All

    If this doesn't find them...
    Then go to your DM
    Click on Application Loader
    and confirm that BB Maps is present...
