    I want to upgrade to .76 and i figure since phone is brand new, i might as well do a wipe first right?

    so how do i do it?

    And yes i did try searching, had trouble finding instructions.

    i searched for "wipe" and "full wipe"

    it came up with a lot of "... you need to do a wipe ..."

    but no instructions. Sorry for duplicating te question.

    But, for the original post: go to options/security options/general settings and hit the bb key. Then choose wipe handheld

    that destroys data stored on the hand held, not the OS and Apps loaded on the device.

    Doing a Wipe with Javaloader or JL_Cmder is what the original poster wants. It destroys not on the data, but the OS and applications as well.. In PC terms, doing a javaloader Wipe is like "formatting your hard drive"

    If you are also looking to remove a BES IT policy, then using the newest version s of Javaloader or JL_Cmder with the "Resettofactory" switch will accomplish this, but WIPE will still be needed to remove the OS and Apps.
