    Go to your address book

    Highlight the contact
    Menu
    Add Custom Ringtone

    This is how i do it on my 8330. Let me know if it's the same.

    Just go into the contact and press the blackberry button, when you scroll down under job title it comes up with custom ring tones/alerts and that is where you can set them. I have them for my family members
