How do I eliminate the default Homescreen Layout in Portrait Mode? I hate the extra step of having to click on the blank part of the screen to access all the icons. I've got it in 3 Row mode but it's still a pitb.

Get a theme. There isn't any way to lock the default theme in the menu mode.

You could just hit the bb button to access all the icons instead of clicking the space. Although I do agree with korp stating to get a theme.

for a while I used a theme that had 16 icons on the home screen, but I switched to get one with a hidden today. The range of possibilities in themes is amazing
