    Does anyone know why the camera on the Storm takes about 3-4 seconds delay when taking a picture? I have to ask the person to stay still for a very long time in order to snap the picture. That is uncool. What's the point to have a 3 mega-pixel camera when you cannot use it for quick snapshots?

    This is one of my very few complaints about the Storm. Is there a setting that can
    fix that?

    Depends on the OS - some I have seen work better than others. Hopefully when the new official OS comes out (don't hold your breath, but some think tomorrow - others think the middle of March) they will have it working much better.

    The camera was pretty much unusable until OS .99. It was actually pretty speedy in .90 but .90 had way too many problems for me to ever recommend it to anyone.

    If you want to improve the speed of your camera, either A) lower the picture size and/or picture quality in the camera options, or B) upgrade to OS .99 or above.

    It will honestly depend on the device and the OS. Every phone will respond with varying results to just about every OS. Some problems are more consistent than others, but you will just need to see for yourself which one is the least buggy. Granted, most of the ones tried are leaks, so until an official OS is released by your carrier try testing some of the newer leaks. I personally am on .90 and it is very responsive with the keyboard, camera, video and all around.

    I still have the original .75 OS. Now, if the new OS can fix this problem, I will look forward to that. March is not that far away.

    If you have not put too many crazy 3P apps or themes on you berry, you should be able to update to 103. it is pretty stable, makes your storm snappy and takes great pictures.

    I have .106 on mine, and my camera is fine. Not much of a delay, takes a picture in about a second to a second in a half at most.

    OS = Operating system

    To update, go to the beta OS discussion forum and there is a sticky at the top that has a good how-to.

    When taking a pic, click on the camera button twice. The first click adjusts the shot and the 2nd click is the shot. I read this on that Storm tips and tricks thread. Works for me.

    On the original OS 0.76 I had a mega delay, but when I upgraded to .103 it is almost instant. No settings can help you it's an OS issue so upgrade to .103 and enjoy!!!!!

    It is some what slow, im on .103 and it has a 2 second delay, but i also noticed with my playing around with it, having the Image stabilization on increases the Delay by a extra second or 2
