any tips on how to make calling a contact more similar to how one would/could do it on the 8830.

for instance i loved how i could just start typing the name of a contact and then when the name popped up could choose to either call that person or send text/email.
it was so quick and easy and so far it seems as though its a real chore to do this on the storm...its a multi-step process...

well if this helps what I do is type name when its highlighted I click the bb button then select what I want to do send sms call email etc?

Hit the Green button. Then the BB Menu button, Scroll to Options.
General Settings then Enable Dial From Homescreen". Try that
