So I had problems with my phone and Verizon replaced it. On the replacement, when I open the browser, the field box to search google is no longer there. How do I get this back?

You may just need to set it to Google. If you haven't done that, you can launch the browser, press the menu button, select options, then select Browser Configuration, then set your home page address to "http://www.google.com/"

i have the updated OS though. And it wasn't a matter of going to the google page. it was under the address bar, a place to enter a search term, press return, and it googled it. I loved that!

I'd be angry if it was gone also. What os are you running now?

I hope so, because if it's just gone that option may not be there. It reminds me of before I had an updated os, there used to not be the search bar.
