I was thinking about this. I realize it's not really ethical, but there's nothing stopping someone bricking their storm on purpose to get a replacement? Say one had too much dust under the screen, and one or too many scratches on the glass ...

I'm not even sure the storm is brickable. I bricked my treo on accident during a upgrade and verizon swapped it out no questions asked.

Curious what peoples opinion is on this ... thanks.

You have a 30 day worry free Guarantee, within that 30 days from the date of activation you can get a brand new phone for any reason. Just take it back to the store.

On purpose brickage is probably subject to bad karma

Actually it is. Since it was released on the 26th I have had at least a dozen customer's who have called into Tech support with issues with their phone, come to find out they Bricked it, we did replace it for them but they have to pay the 50.00 replacement fee.

ANY phone, running man-made software is brickable - think about it.
