mine is 1.0.105.56 :( I hope that doesn't mean I did something wrong.
..:bump:..
I was wondering the same thing after seeing Kevin's .75 video.
Mine is 1.0.105.13. The lowest I've seen. Wonder what it refers to. It sounds like a hardware version... but hard to believe there are so many variations.
The branding version just shows the carriers Vendor ID number.
WOOT! I got the lowest..1.0.105.7
1.0.105.21
Thanks for clearing that up. I knew I could count on you.
thanx brother i kn ew you'd know...thnx for the response
First storm 1.0.105.193 second storm 1.0.105.48 same carrier?
105 is the carrier id for Verizon, but what does the last number signify?

Just a thought... If the second to last maybe the last is the device activation number (made up that name). For example. If you had the very first one with spextel you would have 1.0.103.1. To test. Ray J Neal and rynoondew what date did you get your berry's?

This is kind of an old thread, but I think I posted in another that the last number was indicative of the location it was made.

Mine is 1.0.105.191 and I got mine via Fed Ex on Nov 26. Made in Canada.
That's the branding version, mine is 1.0.121.235, which is Telcel, mexico. I'm going back to their sucky support desk.
Found it while looking for ways to check if the PIN was locked to another vendor. It's not! telcel just wants to sell you a phone locked to a contract.
/edit, forgot to add, the branding data list came from;
supportforums.blackberry.

Update, Found the solution so just wanted to share.
On re-installing yet again the DM OS, it balked that Firefox was open, so, you guessed it. I next try an OS reload, with Firefox and everything else closed. It loaded!, no problems then... Seems FF uses some Java functions or files that lock out loader.exe from executing completely.
There you go.
