Is it just me or is the contact list incredibly boring - i.e. just black and white Is there an alternative or is it a case of waiting until some themes are released and hope that a nice looking contact list is included?

Themes do not generally change the appearance of the contact list. And really, how much time do you spend looking at your contact list?

Some other phones have a pic of the contact next to the name but in reality you already know who they are so merely window dressing. That said, I have no problem with the window dressing as long as it doesn't degrade performance. A splash color couldn't hurt...

I agree its drab. Not entirely relevant to anything I do on the phone but its lacking snaziness...

To be expected with a crossover from a company servicing mostly corporate users I suppose.
