I posted earlier about backing up my data to prepare for SW update and got an error occurred message. well I found out which one wasnt able to get backed up and it was the "on-board device memory" a member told me to just skip the problem one and move on. i do have some things on it that i want to keep. my question is, will it gt wiped out when I do the SW update?

Sorry for bugging everyone with stupid newbie questions. This is my very first BB and I never had a smart phone/PDA in my life

The update should perform a back up as well. In all likelihood, it will encounter the same error.

Clear your browser cache and also run memory cleaner.

The instructions have been posted many times on how to do this. It will fix this issue.
