So I left Sprint last month because my last bill was 800 bucks. I found simple mobile and love their plans. I then bought an unlocked blackberry storm from Amazon. But when I put the simple mobile SIM card into the phone, nothing happens. When I put it on GSM it automatically connects to the tmobile netwoek even though the phone is verizon. Does this mean the phone is still locked? I don't know. It can also connect to At&t. Please help. I would like to start using the phone soon. thanks.

Blackberry - Data Connectivity (without BIS services) MMS not supported
^ That's how to get internet and whatnot.
Simple Mobile does not have BIS, so you won't get BBM.

As for your problem, did you activate your device online? Through their website.

No, I went to a dealer. the dealer plugged the SIM into another phone and it worked fine, so im wondering if it could be the SIM card reader. thoughts?
