When I try to view a video on YouTube, I get the following message:

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player".

I checked my browser configuration and verified that I have Javascript enabled. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

The Storm does not support Flash (currently). You can either use the youtube mobile site m.youtube.com or use the app like TheFarmer suggested.

For some reason, I'm only able to view youtube videos (and all videos for that matter) in horizontal mode with blackberry buttons on the right. Is anyone else having this problem? It's like the accelerometer is turned off. I'd like to be able to view them in either horizontal position.

No charge for using the YouTube app. Do a battery pull. Mine wouldn't play YouTube videos either. Did a battery pull.....FIXED.
Try it. Maybe it will work for you.

Is there any difference in the app vs. the mobile version? The video quality isn't very good with the mobile one.

I have this error using YouTube app

PlayerException: Cannot open tunnel Cause: java.io.IOException: Cannot open tunnel

I also try to use the m.youtube.com and when I select a video and it open the media player but nothings play I leave it like that a few min an nothing.

What are the changes that I need to do on the java thing? Anyone plase can tell me if the Options on the Browser Configuration the Support JavaScrip box is check marked and if the Prompt to enable Java Script is check marked too and also in the browser option in General properties the Enable JavaScript Location support box is check marked too?

Can anyone help me out here because I try everything and nothing works. Thanks
