I have never owned a BB but like so many millions, I am dying to upgrade my work smartphone to a Storm. Yesterday my IT "expert" informed me that I would not be able to get a Storm (or any other BB, for that matter) because "Blackberry's don't work with our Exchange Server.
You have to have a Blackberry Enterprise Server. ($5000) and then all the Resources to support another Server." I work in county government and we currently use Windows mobile devices with activesync and microsoft Exchange.

    Can this possibly be correct?????

Pretty much. You can get blackberry professional (marketed to SMB's) for free with one license depending on the promo but you still need your IT dept to set it up and install just like BES. Additional licenses are one time $100. M&S are on top of that.

    Just get an iPhone.
