i just got a storm from my friend if you turn it on it just has a black screen and the red led sometimes shows up. if i plug it into desktop manager nothing happens no pin shows up or anything..he said it used to say no application linked but now it doesnt even say anything.. if anyone knows how to fix this can you please help me.. iv tried putting an os on it but it says cruical error at the first stages of download. if someone can send me a link on what desktop manager to download and os that would be really helpfull thanks

wouldn't that be for bricked, which by definition is constant reloading?

if it's turning on and all black, then i have the same problem...

Bricked covers the whole range of failed to start conditions. If it won't start, it's a Brick.

The good news is, the logic board is still alive. If you can get it to connect with Applications Loader, the odds are good you can recover it.

First test, does the PIN number register? If so, you can carry on.

When it does not, plug it in, remove and replace the battery. Watch the startup, if you can catch the PIN number just right, you can continue. It may take a few tries.
