No it's not...IT'S COMMON F U C K I N G SENSE but some people around here do not have any. How hard is it to get on a web forum and search or read through the topics.
If you don't have time to read then do not log on, it's that simple. He was gone for a week not a year
Lets see whats easier and quicker? Reading through thousands of useless threads/posts (like this one) or creating a useless post like this one to add to the thousands of useless one's that already exist? I would go with the latter as it appears at the top and usually someone provides the answer after some people who have all the time in the world to log on and just start yelling at people like someone died and made them GOD!
I mean if you have the time to read and reply to a useless post then you have the time to reply with a decent answer... not a flame!!!
Well, I could just go on and on and on... but I had enough! If you don't like what I just ranted about... Just keep your opinions to yourself. I don't really care about it or want to read through the thousands that are coming right after this....
While everyone loves to just knee-j e r k the "Why don't you just read/search...ya big dummy" answer, I think the OP asked a legitimate question...especially when he stated that he's been away for a week.
A week. Think about it...on this forum.
I just did a quick non-scientific look back. In the past 24 hours, there have been SEVEN PAGES of posts...on the main forum alone. I didn't even look at the other FOUR sub-forums.
And, considering that last week, Verizon made a (lame) announcement about the App Center, there are plenty of posts that say a lot of the same thing (practically nothing).
And, just FYI, by not answering his question, you've helped create YET ANOTHER thread that will show up when someone does a search for "App Center" that doesn't contain relevant information about it...causing the next person to do exactly what the OP did. Bravo sir, Bravo.

Reason: Man, that offensive-language filter is SENSITIVE!

I just preformed a search and found plenty of relevent information on "app center" on the first page. Also, if you go into the Beta OS sub-forum, there is obviously no new OS.
Habious you hit the nail on the head. Thanks to gentlemen like that searches are useless. 3 out of 4 results are dead ends due to the trolls slinging around that's a stupid question! And giving bb forums a bad smell...and bb users a bad name. They could have said what david said, using less energy while being helpful. Not to mention creating a better reputation for themselves. Each subsequent negative remark proves and reinforces my point.

I've found that just visiting Crackberry.com main page or Crackberry blogs is a good way to digest all the most important BB happenings from the last week. For instance, if a new OS is leaked, it will surely be blogged by Crackberry. Same with any news-worthy updates on the App World.
I would suggest subscribing to a Crackberry RSS feed or just visiting Crackberry.com. There is also BlackberryCool.com, but they seem to be a few days behind Crackberry.
Basicly people should just search and NEVER post a new thread from now on then? Because I am pretty sure almost every thread and topic have been discussed.
