Just a quick question: if I have bedside mode on with the radio on, will I still receive calls? And if I have this on, will it conserve any sort of battery live?

If you open your clock and press the bbkey you can set preferences by scrolling down to options.
Scroll down on the page and you will see stuff like LED,Radio, etc...
You can save battery in bedside by limiting the screen brightness and shutting the radio off, however, you wont get any calls with radio off. If you're looking to save battery life, you can do that by adjusting your screen brightness and turning off your bluetooth and GPS when not using them.
