I took my phone off the charger. About 3 hours ago with a full battery now its dead. Nothing was running and gps was off. I have good 3g signal. Any odeas what caused this. The phone is only 3 weeks old.

Has this happened before? May be a bad battery.

just a side note: My wife's phone has done that but I found out that she had it on the charger but the charger itself was accidentally unplugged by one of our kids. Wouldn't hurt to check if this hasn't happened before.

make sure you backlight brightness is at a lower level than 100%, I keep mine at 10% and go to your network options and select 2g mode and see if there is a difference.

Are you using the wall charger, or the USB charger?

Battery is fine. Hasn't happened before. Light is at 10%. Wall charger.

what OS are you running? If it's 5.0.0.xxx, you may be getting the insufficient power message which could explain it.

Are you running multiple apps at once? If not...it may just be a bad battery

This happened to me once and only once. I then have had my phone for 8 months never having it happen again. I find that with the storm sometimes a ghost gets in the machine.
