Hey fellas, Im thinking my battery's crapped out. I charge it overnight typically on my computer via the USB cable, and threw it on last night [battery was just about dead], and it said it was taking a charge.

I wake up this morning, and it's dead! I've had it connected to my laptop via USB port to charge it at work all day, but I got nothing. The red charge indicator is coming on, but it hasn;t turned on once today.

I'm assuming it's the battery, so I'm going to take it VZW tonight and see what they say.

If it isn't the batterys fault it could also be one of two things:

1.) Computer / Laptop was sleeping (some don't supply full power to USB while sleeping)

2.) USB port isn't 2.0 so therefore didn't supply enough energy to charge.

3.) POS Battery!

1) I have it set so that it doesn't sleep for that reason. It's not like I charged it that way once, it's how I always charge it :P

2) Macbook Pro, so yeah it supports USB 2.0. Same goes for the desktop.

I doubt it's my USB cable considering the phone is recognizing that it is infact getting a charge from it.

Have you tried using a wall charger?
