    OP:

    For apostrophes, if you look at your autotext dictionary, you will find that most contracted terms (those that require apostrophes) are already in there, including possessives. Faster to just learn the text shortcut.

    Most are straight-forward: arent, cant, hes, shes.

    Some are special:

    hel = he'll
    il = I'll
    itsa = it's a
    shel = she'll
    wel = we'll
    wer = we're

    Thanks for the tip !! I appreciate that. I also like to use good grammar when typing text messages or even in BB messenger. Good stuff !!!

    If you hover over the period key it will give you a pop up with the 3 periods. just make sure your hover interval is set to your comfort level.

    How strange.
    I was just reading a TOTALLY unrelated board, and this subject came up.
    Someone used the ... (I always do), and another poster started bashing him.

    The following poster came on and stated, "They're called elipses, dumbass!"

    hee hee!

    i did not call anyone (nor would I , a dumbass), I was injecting just a bit of levity with a trivia quote. the real neat trick is finally finding the backslash only on portrait mode after two (count 'em) symbol clicks . WTF!
