    I tried searching already but didn't come up with anything...

    Is there any way I can officially log out of BB Messenger or am I pretty much logged on for life?

    *Note: I know that I can set my status to "unavailable" but I want to be able to log out completely.

    It is like DSL/Cable and "always on" but you can set your status to unavailable...

    LOL - yeah. Would be nice to log out every once in awhile but there's now way to do it.

    You could always delete the BB Messenger app, that would log you out. Not sure what long term ramifications it might have though.

    nothing you can install it again..

    pin messages still work you just dont have bbm.

    Change your status to unavailable when you don't or can't chat- I really wish there was a way to make yourself unavailable to certain contacts- that would be oh so nice
