In options/Mobile Network is there anyway to save the Network Selection Mode to Home instead of Automatic? It keeps reverting back every time I receive or send a text. I'm trying to keep the storm to just stay local and to never go into roaming. All my older phones could do this just fine.

Doesn't suck, I don't travel. So having a local unlimited & unlimited long distance at $35 is the best plan for me. I don't ever have to worry about minutes. But just in case I decide to go out of my coverage area, having the phone set to local keeps me from roaming, ergo, the reason for my first post.

Still haven't been able to resolve this issue. If anyone doesn't mind and has the .76 OS or the .75 please look and see if HOME reverts back to AUTOMATIC, after you send or recieve a text. I'm have .85 installed an I believe .76 would save this option but I not sure. I really don't want to have to downgrade just to see if this is so. Thanks for any help.

I can't check, but if your sim card is still in pull the battery, pull the card, out. After The phone boots back up put it in home and dial. *228 and select option 1..
(I still think *22899 works fine too, but some vz people disagree).
It should stay on home afterwards...
