    Happy Thanksgiving All!
Even though I don't have my Storm yet (scheduled to be delivered on 12/1), I already bought some goodies for it. I bought the 16 MG Micro SD card since I intend to put just about all of my iTunes library on it. I have 2 questions regarding the 16GB card:

    1. Has anyone used this card yet and, if so, did it work OK?
    2. Will I need to format the card initially before using it?

    Thanks for your help!

As long as it is a micro sd it will work. And you don't have to format the card, but
it is quick and won't hurt anything if you decide to.

The storm can support up to a 20gb micro sd chip.

    hope that helps.

I have the SanDisk 16GB and was worried about the Class 2 aspects, but it seems to work great.

I'd probably look for atleast a class 4. But they're more expensive.

Keep us posted on the speed. Does the class 2 card perform ok ?

    Cheers.

(The Class denotes the MB/sec speed of transfer of the card) (2, 4, 6 are current speed levels).

If I were to get a class 6, will the storm be able to read it just as fast? I know you can transfer files faster on a class 6 from the computer. But I think I read somewhere that the Storm will only read as fast as a class 2.

I'm using the cheapest (class?) 16GB card i could find. Music/movies play fine & it has a 5yr warranty. Everythings backed up on my pc so can't see the need to spend more!
