gps doesnt give me the right location (off by FAR)

a few people have some other GPS posts going . . . I think that verizon is a bit behind on getting email provisioned correctly.

i remember reading somthing on the boards in the last three days or so about the storm getting its initial fix by looking at towers and you needing to be outside for about 15 min or so to get a good sat signal for the other portion of the GPS sorry i couldn't be of more help, mine wont be delivered till tomorrow.

go to gps options and turn on gps locator

Havin a hard time figuring out how to sync my email account on it and my gps said i was in Saudi Arbia!!!

I had to change the settings for GPS from e911 to locate in advanced options - gps. GPS works great. Haven't had an issue with bis email, haven't tried to add pop3 email yet.
