My 9530 screen had been wet during my shower
it shows a water leaked inside the screen
all possible help already done - including put in rice bucket for couple days

After dry-up, i put the battery everything went normal
until the backlight slowly light off, then blinking, then went OFF completely

The LCD still display, the touchscreen works fine
Checked with BBScreenStream on the screen on my PC
but the backlight went OFF, this make nothing to shows on my device

is there any way to fix ?
is there any way to replace only the backlight?
the service shop suggest me to fully replace the LCD & Touchpanel
which i think to much for me... (too much expensive )

The same thing happened to me bro. I feel your pain. My screen got slightly wet just from drinking from a cold glass and handling the phone repeatedly. It dried out and worked completely fine for weeks and then the backlight started to dim and flicker. Then it went completely out and would only light dimly occassionally. Now it has been totally dark for about a week. Everything else on the phone works but cannot use it because the screen is black. I have been picking through all the blogs forums etc with a fine tooth comb trying to find a someone with a solution but I havent yet. Most people have returned their phones and gotten a new one. I dont have that option because although the phone was purchased from Verizon I am currently living outside of the US and I imagine it would be a considerable hassle.

I am hoping and praying that someone finds a solution and assists us soon.
