My original was like the one on the right. The replacement I got is like the one on the left. I did a side-by-side comparison of the sample photos and thought the one with the blue tint (the one on the left) made the photos look a lot brighter/more vibrant.

to me, the one on the right looks like it has much better contrast. If i was to pick, i would take the right one.

More than likely, one of the phones (the one with 1XEV) is activated under his account and the other one isnt. Since the one with 1xev is not activated, its not getting full service and is probably roaming.
