Tried searching. When you select option 1 to reprogram your phone does it delete contact and calendar info and the like? Thanks.

Reprogramming only applies to the phone programming for your phone calls. Not your phone memory. So choosing option 1 will not delete anything.

If anything you should be doing option 2 every once in a while.
I do it monthly...but I am a nut with updating things. If you want to bypass waiting to hit option #2 you can cut to the chase and just dial *22899
