in looking at the crackberry video of the update found on the front page the user has
.143 crackberry video
i have
.115 on mine
and lastly, the screen shot on the front crackberry page of the update shows
.94 on crackberry screen shot

i guess a few questions

1. what is this branding version thing?
2. if we all have the same firmware version, why are there different branding versions
3. what branding version do you have after the new firmware update?

i don't know what the last number in sequence means... but I don't think that part is a big deal we all had mostly different ones from the day we got them...

the number before the last one is carrier... verizon 105

My branding version is 1.0.105.247. This is using the .75 OS posted in the sticky. I'm not sure what it was with .65.

I think in another thread they said it's your particular vendor's ID. Nothing to be alarmed about at all.

I am not sure but is it possible that the 1.0.105.??? is the ip address for the phone? just speculation...

As for the .65 or .75 or .94 if you look when you updated the phone the platform updates to .94 were it was platform .85 with the .65 OS version

So platform .85 with OS version .65 vers.... platform .94 with OS version .75

105 is the branding number for vzw other manufacturers have unique numbers ie sprint tmo etc...
