hi i was wondering if there was a way of typing in my contacts info on my comp and then sync-ing it to my storm. Is there a specific address book the storm reads? or is there a way of simply typing my contacts from my comp into my storm?

Really, you read through the whole thing and there is nothing there that tells you how to sync your contacts.

I find that a little hard to believe. Keep looking.

Desktop manager software allows you to sync your contacts.
Outlook might be a good choice if you want to enter all the information in there and then sync with the phone. Its lecture 37 in the above link.
Also, you can use third party apps like google gsync if you have a google account.
