Has anyone found a way to add emails to the custom dictionary so that you can enter in the first few letters of an email address and it will autocomplete the address for you? Right now the custom dictioanry will not let you enter in the @ symbol or the dot (.) symbol (i.e., ".com"). Any ideas?

This is mostly for mobile browsing where you have to enter an email address into a login prompt for instance.

you should be able to add it into your contacts and it should pick it up from there?

whtc, I tried this and it didn't seem to pick them up. that works when sending email through BES but not really when using the browser, text messaging or any other text input.

What you want is auto text not custom dictionary.

I have my auto text to type my full email when u write myemail and myemail2 (just tried when I just tried to those 2 in) just set it up

freshgear, thanks! that really helped. I put in myemail* and it replaces with my email address, I think this will save a lot of time

As far as I know all bb autocomplete or at least offer suggestions from the contacts

I think the autocomplete only offers suggestions from contact names, not email addresses, but I'm not sure.
