I got a 9530 and unlocked it. I used it on the ATT network in the US. I was relocated to London 3 months ago.
My company then switched carriers to Verizon and got us all 8830s which is like using a Motorola startac. I tried switching my account to the Storm 9530 and calls worked and everything except email. I was told by the Verizon representative that they cannot send the service books to Storms overseas. I would have to travel into the US network (fly home) to send the service books. There is no way that is true. If it is true there has to be a way around it.
I'm very new to BBs so please use small and simple words.
