Hey Guys,

Well my blackberry storm (running 5.0.0.328) has JVM Error 102

and Verizon and I have tried numerous times to fix it but we cant.

So verizon is sending me a replacement. But i would really like to backup my storm so my replacement will be up to date with contacts and bbms..

is there away to backup the phone while it is displaying JVM error 102?

the DM says there is no device connected, however when you click backup it brings up my device... but when you click start... nothing happens.

any help would be appreciated.

It is an old thread but the steps should be the same.

The only problem with that fix is that it deletes the data. I don't know if either the Blackberry Swiss Army Knife program or Blackberry Master Control Program could help without deleting the data first, but it is probably worth a try if you haven't already
