Has the update improved the reception issues on your Storm?

Yes, these firmwares, are commonly referred to as betas. Not until the Storm came around did people start using the word leak. For years now, most people used the term beta. A leak and beta are one in the same. Beta simply means it's not certified. And yes, the beta/leak, if accepted, will be the same as the official release. The carrier receives the OS, tests it, and if it likes it and wants to accept it, simply puts it up for download. Nothing is changed. Hope this clears it up for you.

OK , I get it. The bolded part was what needed to know.

Since I'm new to BB, I thought 'Leak' was a term the community used to describe a certified OS that was released before the carrier accepted it & thus not a beta.

    Thanks again !!!!
