    The only time you will see the  3G symbol is when traveling outside the US. Otherwise you will only see 1XEV, in other words what VZW considers 3G.

    I just reread and it says there is a difference. 3g can browse and send messages simultaneously. 1XEV cannot do both simultaneously.

    Ok thanks for the info. While I have a thread does anyone experience slow typing in browser. Also the blue high lighting does not keep up with typing

    148 as I type this I am having the problem of the blue highlighting not keeping up. Did a battery pull and didn't fix the concern and there are no other programs running

    You should mess around with the key rate speed and some of the other settings. I know somewhere on here is recomendations for what the settings should be for faster typing.

    I will try to look for it and post where its at, its somewhere in tips and tricks. Sorry my Storm isn't with me now or else I would give you mine settings.
